Art Athina, the cornerstone of Athens’ cultural landscape, is the largest art fair nationwide since its inception 30 years ago. Groundbreaking, exciting, authentic Art Athina 2024 brings together 71 art galleries from Greece and abroad at the historic Zappeion Mansion from 19 to 23 September 2024. It is the largest annual art event in Greece and one of the oldest art fairs in Europe.  If you are looking for a fall break filled with the best of art from Greece and beyond, look no further!

Organized by the Panhellenic Association of Art Galleries, under the auspices of the H.E. President of the Republic, Katerina Sakellaropoulou, the fair focuses on contemporary art and design, while emphasizing diversity, inclusion and sustainability. Featuring exciting artistic proposals, innovative presentations, outstanding projects, engaging activities and strategic partnerships, Art Athina plays a leading role in establishing the Greek capital as a cultural hub.

Art Athina, one of the most impressive cultural art fairs in the country in terms of scale and variety, draws hundreds of visitors downtown for a spectacular multi-day event. The fair plays a leading role in the city’s position as an important cultural capital through insightful presentations, meaningful institutional partnerships and engaging public art activations. Art Athina provides an excellent opportunity for gallerists, curators, art dealers, art lovers and institutions as well as collectors to explore the latest trends in the art world and actively engage in one-on-one meetings with established as well as up-and-coming artists. So, let’s check out what this year’s fair has in store for the art-loving community!
