The 9th Los Angeles Greek Film Festival (LAGFF) takes places from June 3-7. Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras visited Brussels yesterday following an invitation by European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker. Geo Routes Cultural Heritage Journeys Institute and the National Kyiv-Pechersk Historical and Cultural Preserve signed a memorandum of understanding which aims to strengthen intercultural dialogue, mutual understanding as well as promotion of cultural relations between Greece and Ukraine.

The initiative further aims to help local communities through volunteer programmes and Corporate Social Responsibility projects. In addition, both institutes agreed to set up a working group, to develop proposals promoting the cultural heritage of the two peoples.

Greek Environment and Energy Minister Panagiotis Lafazanis, who is visiting Moscow, had a series of meetings with Energy Minister Alexander Novak, Deputy Finance Minister Sergey Storchak and Gazprom’s chairman Alexey Muller.
