The Greek Brand New show returns for the second year at The Hub Events venue in Athens (January 15-17, 2016), open to trade professionals and retailers, as well as to the Media.
The show was created by a group of young and small companies that have opened within the last few years, in the midst of the crisis, in the sections of clothes, accessories, beachwear, souvenirs and design products – all designed and/or produced in Greece. It gives a glimpse of Greece’s new aesthetic vision as seen through brands, products, designs and ideas, promoting a new and contemporary vision of Greek aesthetics.
The aim of the show is to become the annual meeting point where international buyers will discover and meet what is designed and produced in Greece and thus, open their respective markets to the best of contemporary Greece. As co- founder of the fair, George Hatzizahariou, had put it: “The inspiration behind Greek Brand New was actually a necessity of many new Greek brands that design and produce things with a contemporary Greek aesthetic to find a place to show their products to the Greek and international market.”
From 22 participating companies in 2015, this year’s show hosts 36 companies that will be presenting their products. From fashion accessories, souvenirs and calendars to cosmetics, organic herbs and Greek olive oil, this year’s show includes the following Greek designers and brands:A Future Perfect, AnassaOrganics, Cabeli, Citrus Ties, G.I.S.
