One of the most interesting postgraduate programmes of the Thessaloniki- based International Hellenic University is the high-profile Executive MBA, which attracts a diversity of students from all over Greece and abroad. It focuses on cutting-edge subjects, designed for executives, entrepreneurs as well as ambitious self-employed persons.
The programme’s flexible teaching curriculum aims to enable students from miscellaneous backgrounds to attend classes. A variety of teaching methods are employed in order to facilitate learning, such as workshops, soft skills development sessions and business seminars. It is taught for a 24-month period and commences every January. In total there are sixteen weekends of classes and teaching takes place on-campus, in Thessaloniki.
The International Hellenic University was established in October 2005 and is Greece’s first public university where programmes are taught exclusively in English. The University specializes in offering postgraduate programmes for international students who are interested in studying in Greece but also for Greek students seeking an international perspective.
IHU comprises three Schools, the School of Economics, Business Administration & Legal Studies, the School of Humanities and the School of Science and Technology. In total, it offers 19 programmes of postgraduate studies, thus creating a new model of a Greek public university with the highest educational and organisation standards. The University already attracts a strong international academic faculty and outstanding students from countries as diverse as Albania, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belgium, Bulgaria, Cameroon, FYROM, Georgia, Greece, Lithuania, Mexico, Moldova, Romania, Russia, Slovakia, Sudan, Turkey, Ukraine and the USA.
