🎬 Greece joins the Lumière Alliance - Athens to host the 2027 meeting!

Greece participated in the inaugural Lumière Summit in France, a high-level international meeting on the future of cinema and the moving image.

Represented by Deputy Culture Minister Jason Fotilas and EKKOMED CEO Leonidas Christopoulos, Greece joined more than 200 representatives from 60 countries to discuss key challenges facing the audiovisual sector, including AI, new technologies, financing, cultural diversity and international cooperation.

An exhibition dedicated to the sculptor Yannis Pappas, featuring sculptures, paintings and drawings is presented both inside the historic Santirvan building and in its newly landscaped garden.

The exhibition offers a broad overview of Yannis Pappas’s artistic oeuvre, spanning his entire life and the different stages of his creative journey: Paris – Athens during the Occupation – Alexandria – Athens.
