Over 50 firms are participating in this year’s Athens Boat Show that will take place at the Olympic Fencing Centre in Athens (February 10-14, 2016) under the auspices of the Maritime Affairs Ministry. The show brings to the fore an important sector of the Greek economy, by presenting a wide selection of nautical products, including boats (speedboats, sailing boats and fishing boats), equipment (navigation, boat engines, diving equipment, gears and other accessories) as well as related marine services, such as rental boats and professional marine publications.

The HO.RE.CA Trade Show 2016 will take place at the Metropolitan Expo Center in Athens (February 12-15, 2016). With more than 550 exhibitors, an exhibition area of over 55,000 sq.m., a fully upgraded program of special events and a whole new section on the construction and renovation of hotels, the 11th HO.RE.CA show is ready to receive tens of thousands of professional visitors from the Hospitality and Foodservice industries (Hotels, Restaurants & Cafés) and to enhance the international presence of its exhibitors, as it is the first time it will welcome visitors not only from Greece, but also from Cyprus, the Balkans and the Eastern Mediterranean region.

The 8th South East IT Service Management Conference will take place at Maroussi Plaza in Athens (February 11), aiming to unveil the path a true Service-Oriented organization needs to follow under a financially distressed situation. International Keynotes, Hands-on Case Studies and Expert Speakers will focus on successful methodologies and projects as well as on process management and workflows, which lead to the improvement of flexibility and customer service excellence. Delegates will assess how Return on Value initiatives – such as DevOps and Service Integration and Management (SIAM) – can lead to a successful ITSM case study.

The Hellenic Management Association (EEDE) holds the 5th Annual Hellenic CIO Forum at the Grande Bretagne Hotel in Athens (February 11), aiming to highlight the IT’s Department significance in the business value of companies in Greece. This year’s theme is “Data Analytics Innovation: Agile your customer Insights”. On the agenda of the conference is a) How to boost performance with efficient data analytics techniques & solutions and b) An intuitive view into the best case-studies.
