The Digital Economy Forum 2016, titled “Digital Restart” organized by the Federation of Hellenic Information Technology & Communications Enterprises (SEPE) is taking place in Athens, on Wednesday, March 9. SEPE represents the digital technology industry in Greece, where around 4,500 small, medium, large, local and multinational companies are currently operating with with more than 230,000 employees and a total sector turnover of 4% of GDP. In the digital economy forum 2016 program prominent personalities from a broad spectrum of business sectors and government institutions will exchange views with digital technology industry leaders, in order to highlight the importance of technology for the economy and society in general. The Forum takes place within the framework of “eSkills for Jobs 2015-2016” European Communication and Awareness Raising Campaign in 22 European countries on the need for citizens to improve their command of digital skills for work. Keynote Speakers: Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras and Leader of the Opposition Kyriakos Mitsotakis.

- Career Fair.4all is the first Career Day for People with Disabilities in Greece, organized in Athens on Thursday, March 10, from Glovo.4all, with the support of www.kariera.gr and under the auspices of ΗRΜΑ (Human Resources Management Association). Companies, organizations and people with a disability will meet at the Technopolis Cultural Center in Gazi, to discuss, exchange ideas and find ways for the inclusion of people with disabilities in the Greek labor market.
- The National Agency of Erasmus+, the British Council and the Erasmus Student Network in Greece are organizing the 1st Mobility Fair on youth entrepreneurship and employment takes in Athens, at the Hub of Innovation and Entrepreneurship ''Innovathens'' in Gazi, on Monday, March 7. The aim of this fair is to promote and present the different mobility opportunities for students , young people, teachers, researchers and people interested in working to develop their skills or to live a learning experience abroad.
EU Energy Quality/Compliance
The QUALICHeCK Roadshow event on energy compliance with national and European legislation is taking place at the University of Athens, on Friday, March 11, organized in the framework of the Qualicheck Project and co-funded by the Intelligent Energy Europe Programme of the European Union. The Roadshow provides a unique opportunity to professionals, technicians and all that are involved in the reliability of Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) declarations and the quality of the works to identify issues in respect to existing procedures, understand best practices for easy access to reliable EPC input data, and deliver improved quality of the works, as well as more effective compliance frameworks.

The American-Hellenic Chamber of Commerce holds its 12th Annual Athens Tax Forum, titled “Good Tax Governance”, on Thursday, March 10, at the Athenaeum InterContinental Hotel. The forum offers first-hand knowledge of crucial taxation issues and provided the decisive platform for high-level dialogue between the public and the private sectors in Greece.
