“SYSTEMA”: A New International Platform Showcasing Contemporary Greek Performing Arts

Three of Greece’s leading cultural institutions, the Athens Epidaurus Festival, the National Theatre of Greece, and the Kalamata International Dance Festival, have joined forces to launch “SYSTEMA – For the Greek Performing Arts,” a new multidisciplinary platform designed to strengthen the international presence of contemporary Greek artistic creation.

Conceived as a dynamic hub for Greece’s performing arts ecosystem, SYSTEMA aims to foster greater international visibility for Greek artists and cultural organizations, and to facilitate new opportunities for collaboration, mobility, and global engagement.

Kyiv Hosts Special Cultural Event Celebrating the Legacy of C. P. Cavafy

The life and work of Constantine P. Cavafy, one of Greece’s most celebrated poets, were the focus of a special cultural evening held in Kyiv. Organized by the Embassy of Greece, in collaboration with the “Greece in Ukraine” initiative and Ruslan Khalikov Publishing House, the event highlighted the enduring relevance and universal appeal of Cavafy’s poetry.

The gathering brought together writers, artists, Ukrainian admirers of Greek literature, and members of the Greek community, creating a vibrant forum for cultural exchange and appreciation of one of the most influential voices in modern Greek letters.
