The Annual Conference of the BrainReGain will take place on Friday, May 29, 2026, at the Athens Concert Hall, with the option to attend via live streaming.

Titled “RETURN. TALENT. IMPACT.”, the conference will present the initiative’s new 360° model for connecting global Greek talent with the future of Greece. Through a modern approach, BrainReGain moves beyond the discussion of brain drain toward a comprehensive model focused on connection, international experience, collaboration, and reconnection with Greece.

During the conference, the new actions BrainExplore, BrainExchange, and BrainReConnect will be introduced, with particular emphasis on the younger generation, international experience, and engagement with the Greek diaspora. A specialized healthcare initiative titled “Health Returns Home” will also be presented.

In parallel, the initiative will unveil the findings of its research on repatriation and the labor market, while Greeks who returned to Greece will share real-life stories, experiences, challenges, and personal journeys of returning home.

The conference will bring together representatives from government, business, and academia, Greeks living abroad, young professionals, and institutional organizations.

The event is held under the auspices of the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America, the Ministry of Education, Sports and Religious Affairs, the General Secretariat for Greeks Abroad and Public Diplomacy, and the SEV Hellenic Federation of Enterprises

The event will also be broadcast via live streaming, allowing audiences from Greece and abroad to participate.
